Dear Colleagues, 

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to announce that the 5^thInternational Symposium on Biotechnology and Molecular Breeding in Horticultural Species will be held in Nanjing, China, on June 14^th -17^th, 2024 (BMBH2024), under the aegis of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS). This symposium has many Sections, such as Germplasm and genetic diversity, Genomics and molecular genetics, Molecular evolution, Molecular markers and breeding, Molecular technology, Cell engineering, Functional genomics, Abiotic stress, etc. 

This symposium incorporates two symposia: 
- V International Symposium on Molecular Markers in Horticulture 
- III International Symposium on Biotechnology of Fruit Species 
under the aegis of ISHS Working Group Biotechnology of Horticultural Species.

The venue is Nanjing, the capital city of Jiangsu Province and the provincial political, economic and cultural center. Nanjing is one of the historical and cultural cities rectified by the state. It is a place of celebrities and humanities, with a splendid cultural heritage. The attraction of Nanjing consists in the combination of rich natural and cultural heritages.  

The symposium will be a venue with fun and excellence. We cordially invite you to join us. Through face-to-face exchanges, you will find new partners, find new ideas, promote academic international cooperation and exchanges. At the same time, we firmly believe that this symposium will promote the development of world horticulture.
